Default Coloured Wheel Centres

My new, very nice, coloured wheel centres arrived today for my new C4S. I see how they attach to the car. To remove the old ones, is there any other technique but insert bent coat hanger and pull?

Grateful for any advice.

Will post pictures when it is done.

Mark.

Save the $40 and do the coat hanger trick. If they don't come out easily it might take removing the wheel first. Then, just give them a little tap from the back. I don't imagine the center caps come with the security devises from the factory.

Bought my colored center caps after buying the car. You don't need to buy the tool. Had no problems popping out the old center caps and replacing them with the colored ones.

Default You are absolutely correct

Bent a wire coathanger in to an L shape and they popped right off. Two minutes work. Rather too easy actually. Very little to stop a knowledgeable thief? Just like the headlghts?

Thanks for your help.

If you don't want to use a wire device you could use this as the time to remove and completely clean the wheels and then add a coat of Rejex. With the wheels off the center caps pop right off. I know, lots of extra work.
