Default Lowering Springs - Feedback Please

I just ordered the Cargraphic lowering springs for PASM equipped cars. They were $389 for the set and are made to spec by H&R. Does anyone else have experience with the Cargraphic springs? If so, your feedback is appreciated.

I ordered the back issue (#124 - November 2005) of Excellence today where they tested a variety of lowering springs and (allegedly) said the Cargraphic's provided the best overall ride. I'd like to hear from anyone with a consistent or contrary opinion.

Thanks in advance.

I have them on my 997S and think they improve the overall ride without being harsh. Much less wallowy, and I find I don't use the sport suspension setting at all.

I have the H&R springs and the difference between stock and these in respect to ride quality is marginal unless you drive on a lot of really broken pavement. If the Cargraphics are even smoother and they're too rough for you, you probably are driving the wrong car.

got2go,

Does your 997S scrap the ground a lot more now? Are you sorry you lowered it?

Definitely keep us posted on how you like it. I'm interested in doing this mod one day for track driving purposes.

The rubber deflector on the underside of the front scrapes on sharply angled drveways and such. I also have a lip spoiler on the car which I'm pretty careful with. Its not quite as low as the aerokit front end, but still scrapes occasionally in shape transitions (like my driveway). I'm told that lowering an aerokit car creates some issues at time.

The tires clear without a problem even with K19R's which are a half inch wider than stock. Hope that helps.

Here is a photo to give you a sense of the ride height with the cargraphic springs
