window up,down with key remote restored
Since the comfort group deactivation by Porsche I had not been able to push and hold remote on key and have driver's window open and close.
This function as well as key in door window function was restored by my dealer.
They had to order a new front control box because the old one would only hold function when the pitwix was connected, loosing function when disconnected.
Too bad all the windows and sunroof aren't included, like my Lexus, but, this is better than nothing.
06 977S coupe. I don't know about the Cab's.

I am trying to figure out how to set the seat memory so that when I unlick the car with my key the seat and mirrors go to my stored setting...same for my wifes key. the dealer said I can do this because I have the sport chrono package which has this feature but they have never set up a customers car this way. They are looking into it but for now I am trying to figure this out. The owners book sort of refers to this but it does not make much sence.

Each Key can have settings turned off and on individually by dealer with the pitwix(sp).
I have sport chrono also and I don't use it to set seats.
Set everything with Key 1 in ignition, hit memory and #.
Do the same with key 2 for the other person.
Then as each person unlocks car with their ket the seats, etc should go to settings, if not just hit # button.

You need to get the special module and modify your car (Smartop I think) which is not a Porsche product. There was a group buy of this a few weeks back.
Porsche, for safety reasons, dropped that function on the 997s.
