Ronmart, you can get some sweet deals on the Canon 20D since the 30D is out now. The only difference is the 30D has a bigger LCD viewer...big whoopy! Save the money on the 20D and get some nice lens. You can get a Canon 20D new for around $879 with a lens and accessories.

Yes those 85 miles that were on the car and the fact they lied about the miles at the beginning of the dealer trade really have me a little pizzed off. I just wish I could do something about that. I pride myslef in my car care and proper break in and I wonder if the car was dogged during demo rides. I know you are supposed to keep it under 4200rpm for the 1st 2000 miles but even I have sliped up to 5000-5500rpm trying to get out into traffic.

dont worry mike - just drive it and enjoy - those 85 miles are meaningless in the long run...you have 4yrs to work out any problems on their dime

After the first 500 miles I was regularly bouncing off 5500 RPM's despite my best efforts to stay under 4200. I even hit 6500 a couple of times during the first 2000 miles.

Show us the rear end of that car with the non-factory exhaust system. Inquiring Minds...

Nope no staff just me!I do the outside and wifey does the inside...team work! My boat is the same way. I use to have a daily driver 1987 Vette back in the early 90's that I did Corvette shows in SoCal with. I drove the car to the shows and still won my class.

Cool.

I'm a detail nut, so I'm curious what you used on the interior and exterior. Looks like the work of Zaino to me.

Lexol products on the interior and Rejex on the exterior. I am also very fussy when washing the car. I use 2 buckets with a lot of soap, usually a Mequires soap becaue it sud's a lot. 1 bucket is for the wheels and very bottom lips around the car and the other bucket is for the upper part of the car. I use 2 microfiber mits 1 for the wheels and 1 for the paint...the reason for 2 buckets... and wash it after each part of the car I wash...this is very important to wash the mit out so that you do not cotaminate the soapy water in the bucket and to wash out the mit of anything that will cause swirls. I also have a water filter hooked up to my hose to soften the water and take out the chemicals that cause water spotting. After washing I do a final rinse of the fitlered water and then pull it in my garage to dry it with a Absorber...no towels! I also use compressed air to blow water out of all the hidding places. then I will use a instant detailer type of spray and a microfiber cloth and wipe down the whole car.......done!
