The detail of the Maisto's aren't nearly as good as the AutoArts but they aren't bad.

I prefer using Greg at Designs In Motion in St. Louis. http://www.designsinm.com/

Greg's a P-Car owner as well.

My issue here is not finding the non-S in yellow with the Carrere S wheels. Therefore, the issue was resolved by purchasing (2) models the Maisto 997 in yellow S and non-S. I exchanged the wheels and now I have a good replica scale 1:18 of my P-car.

Unfortunately, Greg does not carry the non-s in yellow 1:18 scale

Thanks for the great info.

That is exactly what I did to get my SY 977 cab. I also exchange the muffler/tail pipes. I gave the blue S to my son to play with. I also bought an AA SY coupe because of the details.

You'll have to take one apart and paint it... Yea, that’s a dilemma... I am also looking for the following 1:18 scale and can’t seem to find anywhere:

Green, GS300, 2006
Pearl White, GS300, 2004
Black, 964, 1990

If anyone knows how to find these, please let me know.

No need to be sorry my friend. You are correct, the year model is not 2006 but year model 2002, and the scale is very small at 1:72. I wish the scale was 1:18, I would had purchase and paint to match. I'll continue to look around and hopefully find something similar...

Again, thanks!

I have been looking for a black RS America model for years to fill in my collection of cars I've owned. No luck yet and kind of doubt anyone made one. I recently found a 1:18 black 964 and bought that as the closest substitute (just looked and it was made by Burago.

Now I need a red 1960 356B Coupe! (see sig)
