I'd like to chime in here BUTT I ASSume this topic is just too BIG for me.
O.K., I have a Cab and still feel the coupe has nicer lines.
However, after 8 months of living with my Cab, I think she looks pretty sexy (Seal Grey w/black top) top down OR up.

I absolutely love my cab. I enjoy having the top down on a nice, fall, day, especially in New England.
If needed the heater seats come in handy. And a jacket to buffet the wind doesn't hurt either. What is surprisingly great about the 997 cab is that with the top up, it's quiet for a convertible. Very quiet.
Gotta love it.

It may sound a little 'pimped' but if the coupe had the aerokit (GT3 like), then I like the coupe better. From a pure aesthetic look, the coupe with the side skirts, spoiler, front lips look much more aggressive than the 'bare' coupe. Otherwise I like the lines of the Cab better with the top down.
