Just curious if anyones seen this one before.
Coming home from Yosemite during a record breaking heat wave my built-in cd/mp3 player started acting up... meaning it would start an mp3 song then skip to the next one, almost as if it were on scan which it wasnt. Thinking it may be heat related I ejected the CD, turned off the stereo and turned it back on again in about 2 minutes. After a while the same thing started happening again.
Never noticed this before, btw when I ejected the CD it was extremely HOT...

Good luck. Mine also acted up skipping from song to song while playing an MP3. They put a new unit in BUT this one doesn't play MP3s; wrong part number was ordered I was told. Waited a while (I can still play CDs) for 3rd unit to come in - correct part number on box but WRONG part inside box. I am now waiting (several more weeks) for a 4th to come in "expedited" I am told. Right. I am also told they're on back order. Not a biggy problem for sure but would like to play all the MP3s I burned.
