Bought some Carrera Sport wheels for my 2005 C2S. Will one of you guys that have these wheels post the width and offset that is stamped on the wheels by the valve stem so I can assure myself I got the right ones for my car. Also, has anyone put 245/35/19 tires on the 8.5" Carrera Sport fronts instead of 235/35/19?
Thanks,
Flash

Used 235/35/19 and 315/25/19 rubber on mine. (Toyo)
Wheel size & offsets are stamped on the rim as you mentioned - here the rear is 11 67
The front wheel says 8 57
Not sure if you can fit the wider rubber on the front - but the wider rubber on the rear is working well, so may be possible.

Thanks for the response. I'd like to find someone who has the Carerra Sport wheels so I can compare my markings with those on the Sports. My understanding is the Sports are 1/2 inch wider front and back and have a different offset as well.

The fronts (on my C2S cab) are 8.5 inch with 55mm offsets. The rears are 11.5 with a 67mm offset. See page 288, 911 manual.
The offsets for those rims are exactly the same when equipped on the C4/S. (They simply use a 17mm spacer).
My tires are Bridgestones in 235/35 ZR 19 front, and 305/30 ZR 19. rear.

Let me know if those are the ones that you bought, and I can get the info you need, with pictures.
BTW: I have them on my '06 Boxster S
