Default What kind of deal should I get on a 997S cab

I'm contemplating getting a brand new 06 997 S Cab. I understand the new model year is close and also, the dealer has a lot of stock. What kind of deal should I expect from the dealer?

Thanks for any opinion!

I got a junk email from Stead - offering $4K off 997S Cabs in stock to anyone off the street. I'm sure you can do better in person.

Nice. What part of the country? In the SF Bay area the dealers are more stingy with their discounts. They all think that if they wait long enough someone with more money than brains will walk in and pay full price.

Bought mine at Don Rosen in PA. I have bought about 10 cars from them in the past. I start out with some carazy number and then let them make some money.

92k out the door means you bought a $102k car for $86k (assuming 7% sales tax) that equates to 16% discount

My 06 C2S Cab is on it's way from a dealer up north (dealer trade) and the sticker is $108400 something and I got it for $98400. This took weeks of contact with the dealer but they finally came around.
Right now it's a buyers market out there so shop them hard and you will be surprised.

then it wasnt 92k out the door

i interpret "out the door" to mean including tax, title and any other fee - its the number you pay to drive the car out the door
