Default What do you think of white on sea blue coupe?

Just wondering what you guys think of white with sea blue interionr for a 997 S Coupe?

I have always thought of getting a darker color but am intrigued by the low maintenance of white.

Is white too feminine of a color for a 997?

The main color the new GT3 is being advertised is White. The GT3 is a 'manly' car and looks gorgeous in white. Sea blue interior would look good as well.

I had a white over blue cabrio some years back and was told numerous times it was a very classy looking combo. Go for it.

I prefer contrasting color and hues in my cars (i.e. dark exterior & light interior or light exterior & dark interior). With a Midnight Blue exterior, I would choose Sand Beige interior. If I were to order a Carrara White, I would definitely get the Sea Blue interior. I think that combo would be AWESOME.

I think there is a guy on the 996 Forum that has a white cab with Metropol Blue interior, which is slightly different than Sea Blue. Maybe he can post some pics for you.

Resale might be kind of iffy, not sure. The fact that it is rare may be a plus.

meh, one of the classic 356 combos is white / blue - looks great!
the only more common combination with white exterior would be white over red.

I am not partial to white cars, but a white 997S coupe with a cocoa interior at the dealership was very attractive. A blue interior should look good, but order the full leather. The standard sport seat backs and some steering wheel options have gray plastic, which will clash. Consider also leather door finishers, console and instrument panel options.

I think white is very tasteful with the right wheels. I had metro blue interior in my 996 cab and loved it. Look at ohsixx, that's hot and the blond isn't bad either!

Do you have any pics of the interior with the top down? Maybe that will help him visualize the Carrara White/Sea Blue combination.
