Nice job robbonds!!!!

That was smokin fast time too! It takes me four hours just to clean my car (including interior vac and wipe down). Sealant and waxing is a 12+ hour affair for me.

It took me around 6 hrs. That included dawn wash, clay bar, wash again, dry(takes for ever), and coats of z5,z2,z2 w/ z6 in between. The z2 took a little longer to dry then the z5.

Default Dry time

Humidity is a factor in Zaino and other sealants. High dew points just take longer to cure. And all it's ben doing in my area is rain and rain like all hell.

Never rush quality work! Sure, it takes longer than other ways of "waxing" but the end results speak for themselves.!

Have a nice day!

I spoke to Sal Zaino last week regarding the best way to polish black and using the new Z5 Pro. He said most people use too much and have a tough time with streaks. He says he can do my car with 2 oz of his products. A little goes a long way and should dry quickly. Just an FYI

I do my whole car with 1oz (not using PC) and still have enough for rims.

Default Zaino application

Same here! It HAS to be applied very very thin to the point where it's difficult to see where you did apply it. Always go up/down on vertical panels (doors fender sides) and back and forth on hood, roof, backend.

One ounce will do the car including door jams, all lower parts AND wheels. Always mist the finish with Z6 spray before and between each coat to help flow on the sealant and to aid in gloss level. You can substitute Z8 if you want.

Always use the ZFX! Makes things work much better both in cure time and bonding. Just take your time! No need to rush as this is not like applying wax.

Enjoy!
