Default Life is too short to drive a boring car.

Greetings to all. Picked up my new 06 C2S approximately three weeks ago. I am loving the car and the Porsche experience. The AeroKit, sport exhaust and short shifter make the car, IMHO.

Most recently drove an 04 Audi S4 and have done about a dozen high performance driving events.

I am using the vehicle as a daily driver in the Washington DC area. Looking forward to tracking this beast, especially getting the tail out on the skidpad. Driving this everyday supercar is quite different from my S4. I love the AeroKit but it's added a whole new dimension of paranoia in terms of getting in/out parking lots, garages, etc.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

As we used to always say in the Porsche Club,--"Life is too short to be driving Chevies."

Great look with the tail.

As a master Porsche mechanic said to me, "it's going to get scraped" . The lower part of the front spoiler is bolted on and can be replaced relatively cheaply (approx $200). In addition, the bottom inch of the spoiler is a flexible piece of plastic that's got some give to it. Had to drive around my familiar haunts (including my driveway) with my son and eyeball close contacts...coming in at an angle at about 1mph is SOP. It's a pain but I would do it again in a heartbeat...

Nice looking car, but you're going the wrong direction.

Nah, he's not - just another Porsche owner bucking the trend of mediocrity... <g>

That arrow on the ground denotes tire rotation direction, I think...

Great choices, those are exactly the options I yearn for. Most likely it will be on the next one for me.

Whoa! That is a really, really nice aero kit. Man I really like that kit. Have you scraped your chin on a curb or bump yet? You better watch it. Good choice, my friend. Enjoy!!!

The topic of this thread could not say it better for me. That's exactly why I have my car, and why I drive the heck out of it every day.

Oh yeah, your car is a beauty.
