Default PSE VS Tubi Exhaust

I have an '07 C4S on order and was wondering if I should get PSE with the car or get the car with the basic exhaust and upgrade it to a Tubi exhaust system later. I understand that the Tubi has a more robust sound than PSE and will increase the power output by 10 HP. One thing I like about PSE is that it can be turned off and on and it is made by Porsche. Can you turn the Tubi system off and on? Is Tubi a better exhaust system than PSE? Any thoughts on the PSE VS Tubi subject would be appreciated.

I love my Tubi. No need to turn on or off. OK at low revs and comes on strong at 3000.

PSE is garbage!! heavier, more expensive and ZERO POWER INCREASE...plus mine broke twice. why would you want an exhaust that does the above..oh yeah and on the 997 it tuns on and off but also cuts out in the midrange to satisfy noise requirements...and yes you can disconnect the hose and get sound all the time but why would you want sound with more weight,no power increase and more money...instead, eat alot of burgers, throw money away and then put your head out the car window and make vroom vroom noises with your mouth. same net effect. PSE is for blind porsche devotees who have no clue...same reason harley davidson sells harley the teddy bear!!

It bothers me that PSE does not offer more performance. That's why I have not upgraded. However, I don't know how much tubi actually improves HP if any either.

because people who are brand blinded will buy anything with the brands name on it. why else would harley sell a frickin teddy bear??
PSE is porsche branded...if fabspeed sold this product we would all be laughing at it not buying it. NEW FABSPEED MUFFLER: OFFERS NO INCREASE IN POWER AND MORE WEIGHT! BUY TODAY!
would we buy it then??
FYI porsche sells goddamn teddy bears too...

Even though the PSE is heavier, sound is the #1 priority for me when buying an exhaust. So buy w/e exhaust sounds best to you.

Cool

I must admit that after installing the PSE, the car feels more powerful. I can only go on my but-)-meter, but I think the free-er exhaust must add some HP. It feels stronger and sounds awesome so Im happy.

There is a newish full titanium set of cans offered by Cross and built by JIC Japan. Both cans weigh 20 lbs. ( excluding cats, expansion pipes, and headers ).

Now I'd have to hear the cans under throttle before I buy but it those sounded Porsche-like I'd buy.

BTW, Cross nor JIC have a Teddy Bear for sale.
