So, does anyone have a pic handy they could post that shows what it looks like installed on an actual car? I'd also be interested, but want to see what it looks like mounted.

I have the kit and carry it in my boot (along with a plate!) in case I ever 'need' to put the front plate on.
It's a nice piece of craftsmanship and even comes with screws to mount the plate on the bracket.

looks very well made, but would you worry about a minor accident becoming a more major one b/c the impact is transferred to the (sub)frame and by passing the 5mph bumpers? Same reason I keep a tow hook in the glovebox when on the track and not out in the wind. just a thought, but a cool item.

I received my Tow Hook Plate Holder and tried it out last night (digital camera's battery was dead so no pics, but it looks just like the photo Ronmart posted). Anyways, it seems very well made and works perfectly. I plan to keep in the trunk and use it when I go places where I have to park and know I could be ticketed (i.e., LAX), but you could easily leave it on all the time. If you feel that you have to have a front plate (don't want to risk the ticket), it's a great option!
