It's becoming more available than it was a year or 18 months ago. The zero weight on the light side is apparently an important issue was that's what keep the Variocam able to work smoothly at all temps.
What are you using as a change interval? They're saying that Mobil One is easily good for a year and more than 25,000 miles without any negative effects.

Someone on this board mentioned that the dealer installed 5W-40 when they did an oil change... not sure where they were located, maybe down South?

5-40 was used by my dealer on LI in NY. Now he says that it is more critical on the Turbo and that "If we change it before the winter it will be fine" I would go with 0-40 and am considering having him do it again. I normally change oil 2X a year anyway.

Seems like I read some where you are not suppose to put in more than 1/2 quart at a time.
How do you know you did not overfill it?

Read your manual - it will tell you how much to add based on the bars - then add a little less - drive the car - fill up with gas and check the oil...
That way you won't over fill it

I personally do not like to fill to the top bar...it seems to reduce the puff of smoke on start and I consume less...I have no idea why. I keep it about two bars below the top and it stays there for quite a while.
