Default Paint to sample Ferrari Red

Hey guys,

Looking for a picture of a piant to sample Ferrari Red Porsche. A side by side with guards red would be ideal....but , of course, unrealistic maybe.

I just ordered a 997 GT3, so I am considering colores. Any help would be appreciated.

take care,

jared

easiest thing to do, is to ask to take out a red porsche for the day, and park it next to a red ferrari at the ferrari dealership, or something. Nothing beats a side by side comparison in the SAME ENVIROMENT and SAME LIGHT.

Rosso Corsa is the medium Ferrari red, Rosso Scuderia is screaming bright red....compare cars 3 & 4 on this site http://www.continentalautosports.com...aspx?d=ferrari

Try to compare in the flesh, Rosso Scuderia is so close to Guards in photos it hardly seems worth the extra $$.
Below:Rosso Scuderia C4 coupe alongside Guards Red Boxster (unfortunately these are in Florida).

Don't bother looking at it online. Do what the youngster suggested, take a 911 over to the Ferrari place and judge for yourself. And plan on extra production time at Zuffenhausen.

How's your car coming along, Dan?
You're the one who kept getting all his colours denied, right?

Love Porsches in “custom color”, I definitely will do that on my next one. However, I personally would prefer something a bit more different from the “factory color” otherwise people would look at your car and think the color is "off". Then again, I think you should do what you really like.

Paint To Sample is nice, but Porsche is making it harder and harder to do. They told me several months ago that they have about 140 colors that are on their 'do not paint' list now,--and that number is growing. (Of course, would they SHARE that list with me??)

So,--be prepared for a long road.
