YES! That's what I'm looking for!

I personally prefer dedicated buttons to i-Drive like systems. Who wants to hunt through menus while they're driving? Not me. I'd rather just hit a button. The Porsche PCM was very easy to learn, IMHO.

I'm with Ronmart, a bigger touch screen with key function buttons would be good. If your travelling at any sort of speed on uneven roads the current small buttons are quite hard to select without taking your eyes off the road for too long.

The screen also needs to be higher up and more prominently angled to the driver. I don't think that detracts from the essence of the car IMO.

Some funny comments, and even better pictures. But really, I have the "wart" and happen to like the changes to the car, it's suspension, solidness, torque, handling and all that goes with the "new" design. If we don't like it, buy an old one with nothing but a handbrake and rearview mirror. There's always a middle ground and the 997 is on the fringe of Porsche's heritage. Drive it, use it and tell me you don't like it?! I have it and love it. Don't mean to offend anyone...
