Default Can I fit this package in a 997 Coupe?

I am wondering if there is any way to fit a package that's 2'x4'6" (2'x5' max) in a 997 coupe that I plan to pick up out of state soon that happens to be near the same location where I need to pick up a delicate package that's of the above mentioned proportions? Would it fit with the seats up/down at the back -- with a passenger in the front? Maybe I am just crazy, but please let me know

It would probably fit in the front passenger seat if you recline the seat all the way back. It would be a real tight squeeze in the back. Not sure the car is even 5 feet wide inside the passenger cabin.

I'd buy a Honda Accord. The Porsche doesn't even come close. You can put two, maybe 3, dead bodies in the trunk of the Accord. I mean, 2' X 4'6" we're talking about a dead body, right? Come on, you can tell us -- we won't rat you out.

Seriously though, you may want to look into the Tequipment Roof Transport System, part number 996 801 105 00.

Footwell is fewer than 24 inches wide.

Back seats provide 41 inches of length 20 inches of width.

Looks like it won't fit even without a passenger.

Guess I've been spoiled with the trunk of my Integra... that thing just swallows anything you shove in it. Ah well, I guess I'll ship and cross my fingers :P

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I don't think it will fit. I just managed to get 4 carrera sport wheels in my
coupe.

I can vouch for the roof rack. I travelled with it in europe with our luggage on the rack in a Thule 1200, it was fine over 100mph on the autobahn. I loaded up to 100lbs on it. The car was technically still within load specs.
Don't buy the Porsche box as the shape is kinda useless.

WHAT !!??
Can I assume this is sans rubber on them?
While we're on the subject, has anyone here ever folded down the rear seats???

I guess I'll look into the roofrack. As for the the 4 Carrera Sports wheels, stop giving me more ideas of things to drive back with!

Does the Bose system make you lose any more room in the rear storage area with the seats folded down?

Generally a "package" has three dimensions?

If you move the front seat up and then lay it back fully it may fit, depending upon the third dimension.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to speak up and point out the obvious omission that is crucial in being able to answer the question with certainty. It's like a word problem in 5th grade math - it can't be solved without the missing dimension.

Is the missing dimension 2' for a square base of 2 X 2? If so, the package may not fit. ... Is the missing dimension 2 inches or 1 inch? Then there's a good chance it can.

Re-read the "word problem" and find the third dimension is not needed. There is no way a "package" (not an envelope) of that size will fit in the back seat area. It is impossible that a package (not an envelope) that size will partially fit in the footwell which has fewer than 24 inches.
