Wow. Gone 2 months and all these new names....
Great to see the Board is thriving. I am back up for air after that immersion into my home theater automation project. All these new names I don't recognize.
What did I miss? I assume there is STILL no iPod integration? Is OCBen still screaming at everyone for not searching before posting?
I missed this place. Good to be back.

OT Adam:
What universal remote do you recommend to control the HDTV, HD DirecTV/Tivo box, and home stereo/theater receiver? Must allow operation without pointing at box, and prefer Mac compatability.

ADAM !
Welcome Back.
Funny, I was going to PM you today about some home theater ideas I have - I'll be in touch.
OCBen is still our resident librarian although there is now a "Mrs. OCBen" who occasionally posts (do a search, or bettter yet, let Mr. OCBen do one for you). There is also an OCBean who I am fairly certain is related to OCBen.
I went away to Turks & Caicos for a week, experienced Rennlist withdrawal (I can't imagine 2 months), and everyone here thought I was dead or on sabbatical.
We're all busy putting together our 998 orders.

It's the same as the opening to the Rocky & Bullwinkle show.......
Buckwinkle: "Hey Rocky, watch me a rabbit (MOST iPod adapter) out of my hat"
Rocky: "But that trick never works"
Bullwinkle: "Presto"......(lion emerges from hat)

Adam was off doing development on a PCM bolt-on modification which would provide:
1) Sat Radio
2) 2 USB hubs for iPod shuffles
3) Split screen viewing of DVDs
4) Direct HDTV (for the other half of the screen)
5) Extended extended NAV with GPS lap, acceleration, and braking calcs.
6) Finger scan entry with anti-predator mace deployment capabilities
Adam asked me to come help him in the final stages. You see, he knows that I was an organic chemist at one time and he really wanted to use Sarin in the anti-theft device,...I talked him down and told him he needed to come back to Rennlist country. He was getting really Howard Hughesy - you know, no shaving, peeing in bottles, examining his car for orange peeling under a microscope etc etc etc.
