OK, getting closer to what you mean. What kind of steering corrections?

On a flat and straight road I hardly have to correct.

However, taking a curve at 100 MPH is changing the matter. It took me a while to understand the different behaviour compared to other cars, and still I'm sometimes surprised. Pulling (actually pushing) it through the curve increases the stability a lot.

If you look closely at some of the Top Gear movies (where they corner hard in a rain situation). You see the driver correcting a lot, as he can't push to hard due to the road conditions.

my 996 also had a floaty feeling above a certain speed...lowering the P took care of this problem.


BMW's have a almost 50/50 ratio (had one myself) and they feel rock solid at any speed.
