Default Aerokit Interest?

Is there any interest in aftermarket Aerokits for those who don't want to shell out for the factory model?

I should be able to have some quality replicas made out of fiberglass (front bumper, rear wing, side sirts, etc etc) and am just trying to guage people's reactions to the kits for now.

It seems as if though the 997 kit is not as loved as the 996 kits were, perhaps because the 997 kits are too "busy" for most.

I am interested in a tastefull lower lip piece (bottom bumper). I haven't seen one that I like yet that I think compliments the rest of the stock shape.

Check out the June issue of excellence... last page H&R advertisement. IMO the lower lip piece and the side skirts look fantastic! Also, the rear wing, well part of it looks good...

If anyone knows who sells this particular aero-kit, please let me know.

I'd be interested, depending on the cost of course. I'm not a big fan of the rear spoiler but love the rest of the aerokit. The spoiler is starting to grow on me now with pics of the GT3 out. That car is simply amazing.

That is one sweet looking car. I have a May build coming just like that, but in laps blue. You(and everybody else on here) seem to be pretty happy with your P-cars, which is making my wait that much harder..

Thanks guys!

Yes, there was quite a bit of interest in it at the dealer even before I took delivery! The dealer had to hide the car as so many were trying to show up and see it. They kept it at the detail/prep center which is an Audi/VW shop further up the road until I took delivery. That's where the pics were taken, right after detail.

Get a lot of comments on the yellow seatbelts and PCCB's! Just be careful leaving a driveway that dips, as the front airdam has a nasty habit of finding gound!

I also had Armorglove installed which was a MUST HAVE! with black!!!! I also had the new K-40 Bluetooh radar/laser installed, another must-have!

Driving this car is just unreal!! I hit Sport, then PSAM to keep the suspension normal, but keep the throddle and PSE loud! And this is the NEW PSE! Gets loud no matter what! Does not wait for speed or RPM! Goes on right away! Very Nice!

Sport Adaptive seats were also needed! No movement in those bad boys!

The PCCB's is like thowing out an anchor! Nice firm pedal feel!

I get quite a few looks and all the Rice cars with the "coffee-can" mufflers and bad body/wing kits now always want to see how fast this thing is, which I can oblidge when in reason and safely. All they see is a black wing going past at a good clip.

Meaker: You're gonna die when you finally see your car in person!! You will love the way it looks and the way it handles and sounds! I know, the wait sucks, but worth it!

Regards,
Deanski

You guys must have seen the 997 German Police car. I'm new to all this, but it looked like a front lip, side skirts, and rear wing-all Techart? I would be interested in something like that, minus the rear wing.

I don't think the Porsche Aerokit has sideskirts...
