Default trust coffee holders?

as the title indicates, do you use or trust your coffee holders with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning? (like a grande or venti starbucks americano for instance...)

Porsche engineers are snobs though...the holders fit a starbucks cup perfectly...but try a cup from western bagel or dunkin or anywhere that doesn't charge $3.00 for a cup of drip...never happen!

I buy a triple grande in the afternoon when I wake up. Drive to the gym no problems, with the top down, heated seats on.

grande fits well, but I slip some napkins in to make sure it doesn't move around.

What exactly does a heated seat have to do with a cup holder?

Maybe he thinks the heated seats keep the coffee warmer!

I usually get the large Starbucks and tell them not to fill it to the top.

First two times I got a grande coffee at Starbucks, it went right up through the hole in the lid. I haven't tried again. Now I park at work and walk to get coffee.

I get a venti every morning. Bumps are the biggest issue, so I dump some out so it doesn't splash all over the place.

The first time, however, didn't realize one had to close the center strip b/t the two cupholders to lock the cupholder in place. Took a hard left hander (smooth road) and my coffee gently starting rotating away from me. Freaked me out.

I don't get it. Are you saying these cups of coffee from these other places are too large or too small to fit in the cupholders? The adjustable cupholders???

Any seat that hot momma in his avatar sits on is bound to get heated. Maybe that's what he meant.

How do you mean that? Are you saying the coffee spilled through and out the vent hole in the lid? As a result of trying to squeeze the cup into the cupholder?

I have problems with a starbucks cup when its full or almost full. The coffee inside some times sloshes around and comes out the drink hole. Now I just take a few gulps to lower the amount of liquid in the cup. This has worked so far.

Cups too big...holes too small. Cups won't fit!!
