Clear Bra
I have searched the forum and didn't find out if heat effects the material that
is installed. My clear bra is being installed today and my garage temperature is over 110 degrees in the summer. Any experience with high heat and clear bra?

The film is actually held in place by the strong bonds of adhesion, so even under hot desert heat the film will not shift or wrinkle up, if that's your concern. ... Now if you were to use a blowtorch on it (not a flashlight, snarf) all bets are off.
how much do you wanna spend?
if you are thinking about a clear bra then you are probably pretty **** about keeping the car perfect so you should go with the best...
envisage design labs uses the aerospace material and does a great job, located in torrance
premier mobile uses venture and has alot of good reviews too and they are also a board sponsor.
both these kits are gonna be custom and around $1000+
the cheaper places can be found all over and charge around 400-450 for a basic kit.
I had a great experience with envisage design labs and also used a local guy on la cienega, at the tint factory behind Al & Eds.

Since I purchased my 05 S Cab with it already on, I'm not able to comment on what I have. I can tell you I've replaced to two pieces in front of the rear wheel (standard on S models). I used a quartz heater at two feet to heat the surface for easy removal and then to install. Heat makes the material pliable and easy to work with. Installing in high temp. will only help the install as the material is easier to work with. Contrary to belief, the material is not that hard to install, just messy. I'll try to post my pics and process which I did photo. Also, I plan to replace the hood piece next month. This material will yellow and fade. Sure some of the more expensive stuff may last a little longer, but my 05 just looked a little faded in the area. So I removed them both, and sure enough--yellowed. My photos show this. The material is serving its purpose; protect my car,..and it has done a phenomenal job of it. Not a chip under the material with 12k.
