Default Piloti Shoes Chicago?

Where can I buy piloti shoes in downtown chicago, or nearby without having to go to Northstar in Barrington?

I know this isn't much closer but I think you can get them at Fox Valley Motorcars. The one benefit is that you can look at the Lambos and Lotus cars at FVM. Either way I would call first to see if they have your size since, from past experince, they both tend to have a limited number available.

Also, you may want to look at other brands depending on what you plan on using the shoes for (pleasure driving, track events, all purpose).

Yeah I saw Fox Valley on the list. I'm going to using them for pleasure driving, and road trips. What other shoes do you reccomend? I sort of liked the look of the pilotis.

Reebok sneakers are a good choice.

If you like the pilotis then by all means get them. Puma, Adidas and Sketchers make some driving shoes that might fit the bill...and you can find them footlocker or other big shoe stores.

Just went to the Puma store downtown. Awesome selection of stuff. Too bad they have a licensing agreement with Ferrari, because they have some cool Ferrari shoes there. Found some others I liked.

Bought these:

Super comfy, awesome styling, and they almost feel like your wearing no shoes at all.

Guys, check out the Todd's store on Oak Street. I have a pair of their lace-ups that have great pedal traction and feel. I have fairly large feet and it's easy to get my shoes in the way as I massage the pedals. The Todd's are great, check em out before you buy that Chinese glued crap made by 13 yr olds.

I've got a pair of tod's, but I love the sporty look and feel of Puma. Puma's are definitely not crappy quality shoes. They're obviously not tod's, but we're comparing apples to oranges here.

I bought mine to use at the Skip Barber racing school at Road America...not really the place for shoes of Tod's quality.
