EDIT: I do have the sport button on the center console.
You can more detail than just version 3.2
Check to see if the software version is 05024xxx.
Check the following thread to see how.

If you are running the most current version, then I'm out of ideas. You'll have to make a trip to the dealer. You paid for the the Sports Chrono package so you should get all the features.

I believe there is a sports chrono and a sports chrono plus package. The plus is what gives you the ability to play with settings for door locks and daytime running lights etc.

That is what my dealer told me and if you had the plus package I don't think you would struggle to make changes. It is simple in my 997S (but I am comfortable with electronics)

PM if you have chrono plus and still cannot figure it out.

So much for the dealers "perfect delivery". They are suposed to show you these features.

For the 997 there is only one option available:
Option 640
Sport Chrono Package Plus

Package includes analog and digital chronometer, sport button in the center
console and display in the PCM , also adds ability to adjust lighting, wipers, AC and door
locking to suit personal preference.

One last hint try accessing the individual memory with the ignition on and engine running.

If that fails....time to visit the dealer.

I've found setting homelink works best when you press the button on the opener unit rather than using the remote.

Bob, I had this exact same problem with my Sport Chrono Plus package. I discovered the problem exactly the same way you did, by trying to program the individual settings that the manual says you can program and, like you, found that the "individual memory" didn't appear in the list of menu options in the screen where it was supposed to appear. Turns out that the Sport Chrono Plus package hadn't been activated in my car at all (it's a long story, but the PCM was replaced in my car prior to the time I purchased it, and the replacement PCM didn't have the Chrono package activated, according to the dealer). I thought that the package was working, other than the individual memory, because when I would depress the Sport button below the air conditioning controls, the PASM right next to it would light up, as it should. But the Sport button WASN'T lighting up---which I hadn't noticed---so nothing with the Sport Chrono package was activating at all. Which probably explains why I could never hear a difference in the sound of the muffler whenever I thought I was activating the Sport button.

Dealership had my car for a week, supposedly getting correct codes from PCNA, and eventually the tech ended up taking out and replacing every control module in the car one by one to find out which one was causing the problem. Whatever he finally ended up doing worked, but it definitely wasn't just a simple software upgrade issue.

I think my sport button does light up, but I'll check it at lunch time. Thanks for the heads up.
