How many ponies does a 997s (sport chrono?) x51 have?
Raid - a 997S (355 hp) equipped with x51 (26 hp) will have 381 ponies!

What a sick looking car with the Aerokit and PCCB's! I'm so pumped!

Good for you.. I won't soon forget the first time I started my baby up in the Dealer's shop area.

Congrats! I look forward to more colorful commentary as you enjoy your new Porsche. I put a downpayment on an X51 997S five weeks ago and my order hasn't even been placed yet. Damned X51 delay!

I'd love to read a comprehensive comparison of your X51 997 and your 996 when you get some time in it.

Hey Greg congratulations on your new baby. I know the feeling. Can't wait to drive it.

And to Deanski, I'm sorry that I took your plate. I saw your car yesteday when I picked mine up after having the K40 Radar and Laser Diffuser installed. I feel a lot safer now. By the way I love the aero kit and especially the yellow seat belts. Looks sharp. You will definetly be a head turner out there.

Greg don't forget to give us nice pics. And welcome to the 997 club.

Mine is just a good old fashion S without the X51 and even mine feels a lot more than 355 hp! These cars are smoking fast and cut through the air like butter, so it seems like no speed under 120 requires any effort from the engine.

Oh yeah, and I'm still in break in period. I can't wait until I fully unleash it (although I have hit 5500 a lot lately and 6500 rpm's about 7 or 8 times).

Later,
Ron (1400 miles & counting the days till 2000)!

P.S. Aren't you supposed to be staying under 4200?
