PCM S/W builds are "CDChanger" capable (as this is an expected/std factory option/addition to the MOST ring), so a PIWIS S/W update or initialization is not required.
BTW, if a new MOST device 'shows up' on the ring, the PCM will initially assume that it's a CDC and try 'making friends' with it.
I was wondering when you were going to show up for this..........
lol. I have been knee deep working on the serial protocol backbone for my HT system. I am almost done and then I can re-devote every available waking moment to Rennlist, as before!!

Is it the conincident timing of the Dension adapter and the PAG adapter for the 997TT?

I also didn't see anything that showed a PAG tie in .......Well, now that you're asking.....are they one and the same , or can we expect 2 seperate product offerings You answered my last question, that to avoid a PIWIS visit, the Dension could 'mimic' a cd changer on the MOST ring....given our previous discussions, presumably that means it's going to have pretty limited functionality, after all you can't scroll thru songs on the cd changer using either of the PCM's rotary *****, so how could the Dension do that? I'm thinking that use of the rotary ***** is pretty fundamental to any meaningful manipulation of the ipod's vast folder system (playlist, album, track, artist)
