I had my stereo installer contact Dension. He said all they would tell him was that they hoped to release it in about 3 weeks and that retail pricing had not been finalized. They were tight lipped. He said he pried unsucessfully for more specifics.

Seems to be just for the UK folks now. Dension USA is expected to have a similar product out next month but I don't see any reason the RoW version wouldn't work for us.

We have been in touch with the company, and expect to know more about availability and pricing in less than two weeks.

Assuming it can be done, we will be able to offer the product.

Local Dennison dealer called them today. This part will ship in 3 weeks. Price will be $399. Local dealer will charge $100 for install.

My dealer knew nothing about a Porsche part.

It appears to have the ability to accept additional types in device inputs-so how about using this as an interface for Satellite radio

Question

So could this be a DIY?
How would everyone envision that this would be installed? Somewhere under the hood? Under the dash?

A cable running to the Ipod somewhere in the cabin or would you just place the Ipod next to the dennison?

And... the radio would display selections, etc?
