Default CD Changer Problem

Has anyone been able to burn CDs on their computer - full original bit rate copies of songs, not MP3's - and been able to play them through their CD Changer? The CDs do play in the single slot CD player in the interior of the car. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong when burning the CDs or if there is a problem with my changer. Also, I am using ITunes as my computer music program and CD-R Discs. Thanks!

I use iTunes on my pc and have not had any problems playing the cd's I burn in the car's inside cd player.

If you can play them on any other cd player they should work in your car.

I am able to listen to the CDs that I burn in the car's inside player as well; however, it is the trunk mounted changer that is unable to play them. Any thoughts on the changer?

I'll let those with more experience reply. However, seems to me that if your cd's work inside they should also work in the trunk. sorry, I'm not much help.

Some changers are picky with respect to which what type of discs they will play. Most will do both -R and +R but some will read only one format. Try another format.

My trunk changer doesn't work at all, even with commercial discs. I have tot take it in but I'm having so much fun with it.

It really doesn't matter what song is or is not playing

Yes. I've been using CD-R and RW. Quality of the CD is important.

CD changer only plays CD's not MP3. MP3 capability is for in-dash unit only.
