Default Racing Gloves

Any recommendations as to racing gloves? I wouldn't mind some shorter ones that I could wear more often than just on track....

e.g., long drives, spirited drives

Some clubs will require gloves for DE's. I'd go with the long ones.

I have alpinestars racing gloves. They fit nicely and work very well. More importantly, the Stig uses Alpinestars so you know they're good.

imho alpinestars tech 1-r had the best feeling from all the alipinestars. alpinestars run small so might need a size larger than you usually wear. had better feel than omp's.

I use my old USAF flying gloves. Long, made of nomex, and with thin grey leather in the fingers and palms. You should be able to find those in a surplus shop. I always recommend a longer glove if you're serious about racing and want good protection.
