Default rennlist track day?

anybody interested in having a rennlist track day or track weekend?
get a group up and rent out a track along with everything else to have a safe track day or track weekend.
of course being in birmingham it would be nice to do it at barber motorsports park
i believe the track rents for about 11k a day.
of course the idea would be to get enough participants to spread the cost around to give us some affordable track time.
also barber's isnt the only track available either, although it is a very nice one!
there is another track nearby that would rent for half that amount.
but i think barber would be more fun!
just tossing out an idea to see if there is any interest.
i will probably be renting out barber motorsports once or twice a year for local events as well.
this of course would be not for profit!

If we could get around 22 folks it would be sweet. I'm interested in returning to Barber Motorsports...

I'd be interested, but suggest we talk with Chin Motorsports or someone similar who runs these things regularly to manage it. With all of the safety considerations, ya need a pro.

Interesting Idea...but complex.... In addition you also have to have an insurance policy with Barber named yada yada.
Barber will also charge you for cleanup...oil on track or if sombody gos off into the Armco...

Jeff ...you need to do PDE at least one time!!!
Why are you waiting??
It's in your backyard!

It is unfortunately not just th $11k. You need In$urance, Corner Workers, safety vehicles & crew etc etc etc. You will need more than 22 people to make it cost effective for everybody for a 1-2 day event.

Jeff - GREAT idea! I would suggest you also post this on the 996 Forum. You may get some additional participants to help lower the "cost per participant."
