Yeah, Llyod's are great. I'd go for one that has color piping or script on the mat.

I also have Llyod's mats, very good quality. At the time I bought mine they didn't have the rights to use anything Porsche trademarked so I had to get my initials.

I'm going to order new mats soon with the C4S logo.

I hate to break it to you, maoun, but your "new car" smell did not come packaged in the mats and was not being provided by the mats.

You need to remove the mats out of your car, which apparently were shampooed with a highly aromatic shampoo, to allow what remains of your "new car" smell to come back. They're overpowering everything else, and that's all you smell inside your car now. I've seen this happen before, and all you probably smell now is that odoriferous crappy smell of carpet shampoo.

Use paper mats or old clean towels in the meantime until you get new mats. In the meantime you can rinse your mats down with water, use a squeegee, rinse again, squeegee again, and repeat until you no longer see soap suds, which undoubtedly you'll see. And then hang them out to dry thoroughly. Sounds like they did a crappy job of shampooing your mats.

On a related note, I am considering the short shifter. Anyone know what that smells like before I install it?

(relax maoun, I am just kidding)

That's wrong on so many levels.

I just ordered the Carrera 4S mats with white letters and a red 'S'... sweet.

And after they've dried, leave them hanging where they can air out completely until they pass the sniff test.
