That's not it all all Ben. He advises against marrying a pretty women because she's high maintanence.

" pretty woman makes her husband look small
And very often causes his downfall
As soon as he married her and then she starts
To do the things that will break his heart"

He's not recommending marring an ugly women for their cooking (that's just a side benefit). Rather he's arguing against marrying a "pretty women" for the above reasons.

Anyway my point was the TT may be ugly but it sure can "cook".

Boy has this discussion gone far afield.

Appearance & Styling are certainly an opinion ... but when the past Turbo's were released (except maybe the 996TT), I never recall any negative conversations from fellow PCA/Porsche fanatics. I think nearly 99% of viewpoints were that the design positively "enhanced" the persona of the iconic 911 shape. I remember the first time I saw a 993TT ... damn!!

Yes of course, your point was well stated and clearly understood.

But I am of the persuasion that I would rather have a gorgeous car with beautiful lines and sexy features - I prefer my pleasure in the sensual department.

It's shame that the Turbo is so BUSY looking. Porsche finally got if right again with the current 997,--but has regressed again with that 997TT that has odd things all over the place. It would have been better to have simply gone with a wide body 997-4S and added a sophisticated tail and some side ducts. Oh well,--I guess that's why I don't work at Weissach. Perhaps it will grow on me.
