thanx guys for your help w/the x51 issue but i decided not to get it as wait is waaaaaaaay to long, around 5 months or so i put a dep on a lapis blue/sand beige 997c2s, pse, ss, sport chrono, 19" carrera sport wheel, 5mm wheel spacers, bose, heated seats, dimming mirrors, wheel caps in color, crest in headrest, and blue floor mats. woo hoo cant wait(april build) thanx to all of you who responded to my last thread and a biiiiiiig thanx to my fiancee for putting down the deposit
I don't blame you for not waiting, probably a wise move with the new GT3 @$106K it's hard to justify the same $$ for an X51 S.
Those would be two different cars altogether, can't really compare them. The GT3 is stripped of most luxury components, including acoustic insulation, and is built primarily for those who want to track the car.

just called dealer and added foot rest in alunimum. i am still contemplating in doing wheels in ext color but dunno how they would look what do you guys think?
Yes, I think the GT3 will be a beast but a little to specialized for my needs. My car is low enough as it is and with the utmost care am still scraping the front squegee on occasion. The X51 seems to be loosening up and now with 1100 plus miles I can tell it will be enough for my needs also.
