Default meteor replacing seal grey? 997TT prelim order guide...

Barely worth a new thread, but according to 997TT prelim order guide noticed one interesting change so far:

Option Q9 Meteor grey metallic is listed, Seal grey metallic is not. I did a search key word meteor but got nothing....pretty sure it's an old Porsche color, pics anyone?

thanks icon for the link

I have a picture of my 85 Carrera in what then was called Meteor Metallic. At that time I do not believe they called it Meter Grey Metallic. The picture is a hard copy from a 35MM camera and I do not have a scanner.

I love the color FWIW.

I'll post the color from the 1986 color guide for 911s this evening. It should look very familiar to any 911 person.
