Not a bad attempt, if you ignore the jaggies. Don't really know if photoshop can compensate. I'm no photoshop expert either. Maybe someone else offer suggestions. Otherwise, the original is still a nice shot, as is your second one, which if you lighten up the entire photo just a tad it would look like something from Christophorus or Excellence magazine.

Beautiful color for a P-car!
Deven, you may want to post jpegs in the future.
I noticed yours are all bitmaps (.bmp) and they're REALLY HUGE files.
Thanks.

If Im not mistaken, when the link from pbase is done, the actual file size that is linked/transfered is very small and not very big, but if you go to the link and see the actaul picture, the files are all more than 4.5Megs and thus very big (at least that is what they tell me when I post pics on dpreviw.com). That is why they fit the screen well and the resolution is not that great (but good enough for the computer screen). All the pictures are jpegs.

Yeah, that looks real nice. Looks like something out of a sales brochure.

Atlas Grey is a super color! It would have been my second choice. For your picture, a little more contrast is in order. Would not suggest a fill flash as that does bad things to a finish (it should EVERY flaw) so you've done the best you can with what you have!

cranking up the contrast is NOT the way to do it! the problem with doing that is to bring the car, wheels, and coloured BG into focus, they take different levels of tweaking and if you try and do it all together you will get one right and the other two wrong. The solution is to break the 3 focal points of the image apart so they can be adjusted individually. If you were to tweak the bg seperately, you could play with the car's colour without ending up with such a radically unrealistic background unless that's what you're going for.

Sometimes a radically unrealistic BG is kinda cool in an artsy kinda way though.

uhh you've clearly mislooked at the photo, the car mirror is about 3" off of the wall, you cant tell, but the other side of the car has poles about 6" off of the mirror, very tight fit.
