When you return a lease.
Hi folks,
When you return a leased Porsche how tough are you on the wear and tear of the car? Do they force you to fix things such as worn tires or brakes or a windshield chip? [I just got the chip at my last DE
]
I already had my car inspected, but that was months ago when my lease expired and I ordered my new 997s [which is highly delayed
]
Are they less tough on you if you are getting another Porsche?
Thanks,
Greg

Normal wear and tear, put yourself in the buyer's shoes and you'll know what's OK
Tires have to be street legal, above the wear bars.
Small chips, dings and minor scratches are OK, but big ones have to be fixed.
If the windshield is safe you'll be OK. But most Insurance Companies have a no-deductible policy to repair/replace damaged ones, so you should check this out.
Since you're buying a new car, while it shouldn't make any difference, you're likely to get the benefit of the doubt.
