I have Satellite Radio in my 997 C4S Cab!

No problem Matyoka. I have since traded in the 911 which was one of the first installs and went with an 09 911 TT Cab. When I purchased an 07 Cayman as a track car, it had the CR24 radio, given the cost and complexity of adding NAV, then Tooki, then Sat radio, I pulled everything out and installed a DIN2 radio and used Porsches new DIN 2 face. I do not get the radio disply in the instrument cluster but I now have additional features like a backup camera and HD Radio...food for thought.

Porsche Sirius Install Problems - No Antenna Detected??
Hoping anyone has some insights..
I did the Porsche OEM Sirius Satellite Kit install this weekend and have hit a wall! The Sirius Tuner will not recognize ANY Sat Antenna!! (I can hear audio from the default channel 184 - weather advertising Sirius subscriptions but the error displayed on the PCM is "No antenna Detected! Call your Porsche Dealer". (See pics attached).
I did allot of trouble shooting and believe it might be a defective Tuner! I have Sirius Radio in my Nissan Armada and connected that (working) Sirius Ant to the Porsche OEM Sirius Tuner (Brown connector) and still got the same message...
I also contacted Sirius to active the tuner, just in case and left it outside to download activation but no change....
Thoughts? I've spent most of the day debugging this, please advise.
Porsche Parts Used:
995.647.117.01 - Ant. Nav/Sat System
995.645.280.02 - Sirius Receiver Radio
995.044.900.65 - Harness
995.612.816.01 - Wiring Harness Rear Window Left

I finally figured it all out and got the chance to finish my DIY doc on my install but am not able to post due to file size of document. Any thoughts on where I can post file?

Sometimes your better off having an experienced (and recommended) aftermarket audio specialist do it or the Porsche service dept. I had a Porsche recommended auto audio store do mine. Sirius - NAV-TV for my Porsche 997. Total cost was $850 installed. Works through the PCM Ordered up Sirius and the Best of XM (for my hockey stations) and it's great. Took the guys less than 2 hours and I was out of there. Done. Good luck.

You can post it on one of the free file hosting sites (e.g.: megaupload, mediafire, hotfile, etc.)

Sat interface
I have no personal experience with this setup but, my son, a tech for a large independent German shop, says it is a good unit and works well. http://www.navtv.com/search.php?phra...lite&x=15&y=10

I would imagine it still the same parts as I put in my doc (see link I posted) but would recommend you call Ric at Suncoast to validate as you have newer PCM.

Can't confirm the monthly fee, if any. I haven't checked since the day I signed up, so it must not be large enough to be annoying. Might even be a year-at-a-time subscription.

Looking at today's jump in price, pandora's days may be numbered on the FCC ruling that allows the telco's to charge for the bandwidth internet radio consumes (net neutrality).
Regardless of which side of the political fence you're on, if you are long SIRI, this one's for you....
