Lapis Blue 997
I'm seriously thinking about taking the plunge into a 2006 997 and considering Lapis Blue with Black interior and the new style Carrera wheels or new sport designs. Does anyone have a pic of this combo? Thanks!

Give some thought to the 2 tone black and gray interior. The color difference is subtile but really dresses up the inside. It is not as big of color difference as the Porsche build it site indicates.

I did do that a few hundred times, I was hoping for the real thing...

Saying "Dude" seems a little "rude" to me Coochas.
Guy was just asking for a real-life pic of a certain color.
Besides, he's from the Hudson Valley, my old stomping grounds, be nice to him.

Dave didnt' mean any harm. He is one of the nicest guys on this site, and porvides us all with great videos on his own web page. My recommendation is go to a dealer who has this color and check it out. They may not have the exact combo you're looking for, but there's nothing like seeing it in person to help you make the best decision.

I did check local inventories and most dealers stock the "safe" colors like silver, black and red. I'm familiar with Lapis Blue, I just wanted to see a 997 in that finish. Dave don't worry, I'm not offended at all. This is a lot of money and I usually compromise on color but not this time. Thanks everyone

Coochas is by far the least rude person here on Rennlist. ... I, on the other hand, cannot make that claim.
Coochas was merely pointing out that by the obvious designation on the door sill, that this particular rare car is one of only 50 ever made in the Club Coupe series, and that therefore, without even seeing the color, anyone who is a Porschephile would know that this color has to be Azurro California. ... Obviously Mr. Bob in NY is not a Porschephile.

Gee, I must not be worthy to post here in company of such Porschephiles from California yet! Seems to me that I'm not the only one on this board that isn't a Porschephile that meets your standards Ben.

One thing I did to finalize my decision on 997 color was to go to the dealer when he had three BOXSTERS in my finalist colors,...I say Boxsters because they are a more plentiful species. That way you can see 'your colors' on some big pieces of Porsche metal.
