Default Black metallic

For those of you that have or have had the black metallic color is it normal to have fine lines in the paint that you can see under certain reflections.I really don't want to take a buffer to the car if it is normal.

color makes no difference....you have swirls.

Try 3M hand glaze, P21S Paint Cleaner, then wax. I prefer Rejex (that's why we carry it), but you can use whatever wax you have.

Be sure your cloths are 100% cotton and clean as a whistle, don't use fabric softener sheets in the dryer with 'em, and just give it a go.

If that does not do the trick, you might try more aggressive:

3M Swirl Remover for Dark Colors
Machine Glaze 3, then 2, then 1 if needed (rarely needed)

Then the above steps.

Oh c'mon guys. I'm not that bad, am I? ... I guess if I have to ask that, I must be, huh? LOL

Nahhh, just trying to be helpful where I can and direct people in the right direction. Hey, I guess that would make me somewhat of a traffic cop, eh? ... But some of you might prefer the term **** (no offense to our German friends.)

Ben - I am assuming that was a rhetorical question!

Ben - go easy on woodranch... he is a noobie... just signed up on Dec '05... only 26 posts (as of 1-9-2006). Be Gentle, Ben!

**** is too general… Gestapo or SS would be more accurate.

Seriously, I appreciate your knowledge, insight, and your sense of humor.

From my perspective, your posts are "spot on" and certainly well written and greatly appreciated by me. And I know that view is shared by many others here too.
