Default Coat Hanger

Is there a special hanger that I have to buy from porsche to hang my coat behind the seat. I have tried 3 different types and none work, the opening is not wide enough to support a norma hanger. Tequipment has nothing that looks like what I need. All solutions welcomed thanks.

It's a clothes hook... for a jacket with a loop
Do not believe it was ever designed to accomodate a hanger

Yeah, I would think a hanger would scratch the seat in a 997....in my 993 one can use a hanger as it is on the C-pillar...and allows for more room. Interested in knowing what Porsche recommends.

Since the back of the seat is ABS (plastic) I'd go to Home Depot and look for plastic hook-type housewares hardware (with adhesive backing) and find one that works. Remove them carefully with dental floss, cut thru adhesive using sawind action.

The opening of the two side mirrors are for hangers. If you want to hang more, get the aero kit you can use the wing to do that too.

Well, I tried what you said but after hanging three fairly heavy coats on the right mirror the darn thing broke clear off.

What good are those mirrors if they can't hold that many items?
