Default Clear Bra

Hi all........wondering the percentage of you porsche owners that have clear bras.I just purchase a new 997S but I don't really know if I want the bra.Didn't we buy this car to drive and enjoy and not worry about every rock chip? What happens in a few years when you have to remove this clear bra.

Dude, you need to learn how to scroll down. There was a thread started less than a week ago complete with a poll on clear bra usage. Also, use the search feature and you'll get all the info you could possibly want.

The new Porsche I have on order will be the first of my cars to have a clear bra. All the others I've bought used and tracked. I did buy the cars to drive and enjoy, but seeing chips in the paint was never part of my enjoyment of the car. Thus, I've spent many hours touching up paint chips; a task that was also never part of my enjoyment of the car. If paint chips don't bother you, you don't need a clear bra; nor do you need to spend any time touching up paint chips (unless you just like to paint). I hope what happens when I finally remove the clear bra (if indeed I ever do) is that I see a lot of unchipped paint.
