Dan -
The Gulf Blue should turn out beautiful...how's about the orange stripe to make it really nostalgic?
But let's be serious about trunk space between the 2 and 4,...we're talking 2 bags versus 3 bags of groceries !!!!! (it's 3.71 ft3 vs 4.76 ft3).

[QUOTE=Edgy01]Submitted my order some time back but had to wait and wait for the dealer's allocation to catch up. It was finally plugged in and "Assigned a Production Number."

Delivery 12 May. Official 'waiter' now.

Congrats on the car. I didn't think you would get a delivery comittment with a MFGCNF status.

Coupled with the tourist delivery committment for the Spring Grand Tour, they will be delivering those cars on Friday, 12 May. I have that date locked in. The factory now merely needs to back in that as their target delivery date to establish a production start date.

Dave,--I really don't need all wheel drive in Santa Barbara. I also believe that over the life of the car I would be hauling all that extra weight around without truly using it that much. I also prefer two wheel drive to the rear alone in snow,--4 wheel drive starts to get complicated for my way of driving (and I have years of driving in snow and ice--I used to live in Boston!)

So how's the new beast?

Dan

P.S. Maybe Gulf Orange wheels down the road? ;-)

Dan - Thanks for explaining that one. BTW, GREAT options on your car. I hope Mid-May comes very fast for you.
