Question Pirelli Contact

Anyone have a contact at Pirelli North America. I'd like to purchase their X-pressure Acoustic Blue system and my local distributor is being told they will only sell it with the purchase of Pirelli tires.

Since I don't need tires at the moment, I'm hoping to find a contact who can assist me in purchasing a set without having to buy tires as well.

This is the product:

X-Pressure™ Acoustic Blue

The system incorporates high-tech valve sensors that communicate with a mobile phone via wireless link.

How does the system work?

After ensuring that tyre inflation pressures are correct, the sensors are screwed onto the valves (replacing the valve caps).
As soon as the car begins to move, the sensors transmit data to a mobile phone.
In the event of drop in pressure, the phone emits an acoustic alarm and the display indicates which of the tyres is underinflated.

Please PM me with the contact. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Dan

Not too sure I like the valve cap idea, nor the cell phone. Just what we need to do, fiddle with a cell phone while driving.
I get the feeling that X-Pressure is not quite available yet...

Sweet, let me know what you find on this. I've ordered TPMS, but I could use this technology on my Benz.
