Coochas is ONVESL
Yesterday I was IMPINV (vehicle complete and invoiced).
Today I am ONVESL.
I am soooooo excited,...the wait is approaching an end.
The really good news is that I don't have to worry about sleepless nights waiting for the car to come in,...I'm already there!!!!!!!!!

The timing is actually not so perfect (ignoring holiday consequences) because I start a new job next week...new car, new job,... new daydreams (sounds like a Porsche ad).

Happy Thanksgiving Dave!!!!
Is she coming straight into Boston harbor? If so, that should trim some days off of delivery too!
Mine showed up into Baltimore Harbor on a Monday (boat pulled in Monday morning). Rockville Porsche is approx. 1 hour from Baltimore harbor.
Completed "Dock Prep" on Thursday.
Was brought to Rockville Porsche on Friday at 4:30 pm.
Picked up Saturday morning at 9:00 am.
So, perhaps you have your car once she hits port in 3 days?

Dave,--are you near your port? You would be down to a week or so now, right??
Is all the prep done for its arrival? Got the garage cleaned out, floor painted?

Thanks all for the comments!!!!!
Ben - I remember that waiter avatar,...I though it was very clever
John - I don't think Boston is a port for Porsche,...if memory serves the East Coast is Baltimore and Atlanta - but I may be wrong.
Dan - My prep work has involved ...
1) buying snow wheels/tires which should be arriving within the next 2 weeks
2) buying a Yellow "Club" to match the car (considering LoJack and I don't wish to propagate another thread on it)
3) asking Alfie@Ira to put me down for a bra (for the car,...I've trimmed down and don't need it).
Our garage is shared (about 12 spaces in our building) and it's reasonably clean despite having my space next to the trash room! Ah, city living.
I can't believe it's getting closer by the minute!

Oh yes, I remember city living (sort of). (Lived in Concord, Lexington, and Chelmsford, and finally Nashua).
What a great city to drive a Carrera S in! Don't forget to increase your speed through the combat zone!

Oh no! All that 'color' in south Boston. I left in 1994. To warmer climes! Full time cabrio country.

I'm not sure if others have mentioned, but the MSO (paperwork) usually takes a few days to arrive by Fedex at the dealer, rarely coming on the same day as the car. All I could do over the weekend was visit and drool as the paperwork did not come on Thurs or Fri. My dealer called me Tues, Oct 18 at 9:00am to say the MSO was here and I picked up the car at 11am that day. That's a LOT of waiting from the time they told me it arrived in Baltimore on Oct 4...LOL. But, man, it is worth it!
