Default Indoor Car Cover

Any suggestions for an indoor cover for the 997 2CS?

And before you say, "why would you ever leave your car in the garage!!", I've been issued a corporate ride and it would be un-politico not drive it to work most days.

Thanks in advance.

Get the Tequipment 997 indoor cover. It even has the Porsche crest on the front--very soft, great cover.

OCBen suggested this cover and I bought the same:

http://www.carcoversdirect.com/custo...al_name=Dustop

It is very soft and durable. I really like it and highly recommend the same.

I must agree...I have this one and it is great (for indoors...dust cover). No scratching, fits perfectly.

I ordered a "Form Fit" thats made by CoverCraft, last night. It looked thicker and might protect against slight bumps a bit better than the Porsche brand. I should add that I live out east and unfortunately, it's necessary for me to store my 911 for longer periods.

The order number is 000.044.000.77. I have the same and it is an awesome cover.

I ordered from the Porsche web site under the Tequipment.

As a bonus, for those of you who are **** about scratches on the hood, you can just cut a little hole in the car cover in the area of the windshield and drive around with it.

Saves from having to get a clear bra.

Can anyone suggest a cover that is a little thicker, lacks all the commerical propaganda (Porsche crest, name) and would not leave lint on a Cabrio top?

TIA

Default $

I got one from carnewal.com. They had a group buy over at the 993 forum. Its much like the Porsche one, but it comes in colors. Plus I think its even more form fitting. I got a Ferrari red one and I love it. Don't have pics but here is one...

BTW, it does cover the bottom of the car quite well, I think in this picture the cover wasn't made for the lower lip. I paid ~$250.

Texas911 - How well padded is it?

By the way, my primary reason for wanting the cover is when one of the barn cats sneaks into the garage it doesn't leave cat prints on the car. My wife has explained to me a number of times that lead poisoning is not a natural end to a cat’s life.

Its padded, not very think but there is padding.

Its strictly an indoor cover though.
