regarding resale, without it will be a negative. a knowledgeable buyer will want it, especially when it is standard ..towards the end of the run of the 997, when porsche needs to add some more value to keep interest...as they intoduce the 998 or whatever.

I ordered my car without it and after driving a C4S that had it a couple weeks ago i will order it on my next car. The difference is noticeable. Sport exhaust is a must as far as I'm concerned too.

I like it and I definitely would order it again. There is a very noticeable increase in throttle response with it activated. It also allows you to set a few additional individual memory options through the PCM.
My only problem with it is you have to re-activate it after an engine shutdown. I already hacked the PSE so it's always on. The in-out of the speed controlled quiet mode was making me nutz.

I'm an aggressive street driver and live 6 miles up a VERY windy road. I'm not sure I'd be able to practically use any more throttle response on the street. Track, S/C most definitely. Street, not so sure. I have PASM on my 997 - that I DO use on the street.
