Default When Tequipment Roll Bar for 997?

Just purchased a 997S and interested in placing a bar in. I have searched the forums and have a great deal of info about different bars, but no tequipment bar for the 997 yet.

Does anyone have any info on when one might be available?

Chris

996 tequip bar fits 997. VB997 on this forum did the same in his 997. I'm placing a 996 tequip bar in my 997 in the next couple weeks.

Hey nkhalidi, I see you photo-shopped someone out of your avatar.
Haven't seen you in a while, been busy?

yup, it was just strange to have someone else in the avatar, like you pointed out. I moved from FL to GA this past weekend and haven't had regular internet access; I have a lot to catch up on!

Good to have you back. ... Oh, looks like you're gonna need to update your location in your profile as well.

1. The Tequip bar has beautiful build quality and welds.
2. It aesthetically and physically fits right in to the 997 interior, especially if you have aluminum trim.
3. It's a genuine Porsche part that requires no drilling, isn't intrusive, looks OEM, and is easily removed.

For those of who aren't going to club race our cars, I think the Tequip bar is the best blend of safety, OEM quality, and aesthetics.

You should pick up my bar then, 600, new, allows use of stock front seats and access to the rear seats.
Now, only available on rennlist.

agreed with all above but if the car rolls it rolls i would be worried if my car rolled more than once...

the tech bar is beautiful! !!! and looks good ... driving with out seat belts looks good to...

i do agree if not doing de or club racing the tech bar probably be fine the Das sport bars are really nice no drilling just painting required...
