Is this a wrong way to think for selecting an exterior color?

Is this a wrong way to think for selecting an exterior color?
Hi folks,
My 996 w/ PSE is black on black with full leather.
Right now, I am thinking of getting a 997s with x51 black on black with full leather.
I feel like I should get a new exterior color. Is it wrong to think that I NEED to get a new color or is it ok to get the same color over and over.
This is a psychology question really, as I know there isnt anything wrong with this. I hope this makes sense
Greg

Two ideas:
1. The Porsche color chart is pretty uninspiring. There's no subtlety for being different. You're a red or yellow flashyguy or a black sleek guy or a favorite color arbitrary guy, or a silver Porsche's color guy, or a grey don't want a fuss guy. So suck it up and make your choice: they all somewhat suck.
2. Bite the bullet and hire a design consultant and develop your own color and do a paint to sample. seriously, the consultant can be found locally and will charge a couple hundred bucks, PTSample is..., what...? another $3500? P to sample seems very exciting way to approach Porsche color chart consternation.

Well, I hate to be contrary and you certainly need to do what makes you happy.
But my 996 was Arctic Silver. My car before that was silver. Our Audi is silver. I love silver cars. They look great. They're easy to keep clean. And in Florida they don't get as hot in the sun. And so I considered the various silvers for my 997S.
And then I started thinking, why not try something completely different? And then I fell in love with Cobalt. I adore it. And it feels sooooo right. And I can't believe I've been buying silver all this time. And it really seems more like a new car with a new color.
I'm not pushing Cobalt. It's just that I think an open mind is good. Change is good.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not a complete radical, I did stick with a black interior.
