Taking delivery on my 997 in 3 weeks. Just a little bit ahead of myself searching dealer for service in Bay Area. Any good or bad comments/recommandations???
Don't have the link at hand, but I recall seeing a "rate a dealer" thread. You might Google it and see what you get. When I did similar research, many of the dealers in my area turned up, but there were not too many comments. What I did see though, was not all that positive
Yes, but you have to let them know up front due to limited supply. I know they have a Cayenne (non S) but not sure if anything else. I sometimes prefer a drop off and pickup. No hassle with refueling the rental car.
man, Porsche dealers are cheap. My wife's Lexus dealer never ask us to return the loaner with full tank and they even fill up her car's tank after service.

I was speaking of a rental car that the dealer pays actually. I have not had a loaner car so can't speak to whether refueling is required. I'd think so though as a courtesy. I would be upset if I get a loaner that is empty and I don't think dealer should fuel up for a loaner car I drove around. If it's only a couple of gallons, then it's not a big deal but if you are talking about 1/2 a tank, I'd not feel comfortable in returning it.
I have always added gas to a loaner with out being asked. The better we treat the dealer the better they will treat us and I would have used the gas anyway if I were driving my car.

oh ok. that makes sense.
I do fill the loaner up if I used more than 1/4 of the tank.
